Root Canal Therapy

Root canal treatment is the replacement of an infected or damaged nerve in a tooth with a special type of filling. When tooth decay reaches the inner nerve chamber of a tooth, the nerve of the tooth dies and sometimes can cause an abscess in the gum along the tooth's root. Root canal therapy allows the tooth to be preserved.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns are large restorations that protect weak, broken teeth so that they do not break apart or decay further. Most crowns are porcelain and colour shaded to match your other teeth. Bridges are similar to crowns but are made up of three or four crowns fused together, with the middle crown acting as a replacement for missing teeth.

Fillings

Tooth-coloured fillings are available. We are focused on early intervention and repair problems while they're still small, rather than leaving them until too late. That would require extensive and expensive work.

Extractions

With so many years experience in wisdom teeth removal, we can deal with even the most complex extractions. Our gentle, caring approach is supported with a full offering of sedation dentistry or Happy Gas here in our Erina Practice.

Minor Oral Surgery

Minor Oral Surgery is that branch of dentistry that deals with extractions. These include simple extractions and difficult extractions such as impacted wisdom teeth, broken roots, retained roots and multiple teeth. These procedures can be done by a dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full mouth Reconstruction refers to restoring and replacing all of the teeth in a patient’s mouth. This is done by a Dentist or Specialist Prosthodontist.

Occlusal Splint

An occlusal splint is a custom made and removable dental appliance. It designed to help prevent and protect the teeth, jaw and muscles from overuse, wear and damage. It is a device that is worn while you sleep. It’s made by laboratory to be fitted by Dentist.

Bite Restore

Full mouth bite reconstruction usually involves building up all the teeth at once because most of the teeth have worn down too much with age. When the worn out teeth are built up a variety of restorative materials can be used, these include

  • . Composite resin overlays
  • . Porcelain veneers
  • . Crowns and Bridges
  • . Implant crowns and Implant Dentures

Build Up Teeth

Composite build-up restorations, also known as direct resin composite restorations or composite fillings, involve the careful application of composite resin to reconstruct teeth that have been damaged by decay, fractures, wear or other dental issues. The build ups look like your own teeth and it is less expensive than a porcelain veneer and crowns.
